Hi, I’m Danielle.

I’ve been ‘the creative kid’ for as long as I can remember, and a creative professional since 2013. After graduating college back home in Florida, I spent ten years in Silicon Valley hopping corporate industries learning when to follow the traditional rules of marketing, branding, and design, and when to break them.

I came out the other side as a highly-skilled and strategic generalist with decisive taste who’s not afraid of hard work or humility. Almost anything a small marketing team says they can accomplish together, I’ve probably conquered by myself and written some long-winded case study to back up the time spent.

But corporate culture and whimsical competent Black women aren’t always the best match. Even when I was exceeding expectations on paper, I spent a lot of my time feeling stunted and out of place. So when that feeling came around again at my last job in 2023, I decided enough was enough and struck out on my own.

Now I’m settled down in Colorado, using my corporate powers to create stellar design for the greater good. I work with small businesses to design and develop CRM websites through my studio, Neuen Co, and create apparel and collaborative merchandise through my apparel brand, Good Afterneuen Goods.

Design & Development

I started Neuen Co. to wield my creative powers for the greater good in a way that also let me loop in my fellow detail-freaks. It’s mostly been me up until this point, but I want to target marketing professionals looking to take their stuff above and beyond AI.

Merchandise & Collaborations

Afterneuen is the Adult Swim to Neuen’s Cartoon Network - focused on music and collaborations. It’s the home of Good Afterneuen Goods [GANG], the store for my apparel brand and collaborative merchandise, and Afterthoughts, my blog sharing music, merch collections, and highlighting local businesses.

Local Volunteering

My design career actually started in Boulder back in 2013. My first design internship straight out of college was at a start-up right off Pearl Street. Now, my business is based out of Roost, a local co-working space, and I volunteer my skills and time to make merch and run the social media account for CreativeMornings/Boulder.

Virtual High-Fives

I’m on the internet in a handful of places, but I only really keep up with one or two. If you want to start a project with me, shoot me an email. If we’ve already done business together or you want to talk about bringing me on full-time, feel free to connect with or follow me on LinkedIn or Instagram.
